Where these pediatric ENT doctors see patients

What a pediatric ENT doctor does

A pediatric ENT doctor deals with children’s ears, nose and throat, from babies to teenagers: they examine the nasopharynx, assess adenoids and tonsils and follow children with recurring ear infections or tonsillitis. Families come when a child always breathes through the mouth and snores, often has ear or throat pain, or hears poorly. A cold with fever goes to a pediatrician first, sneezing and eye-rubbing every spring to an allergist, and late speech with normal hearing to a speech therapist or pediatric neurologist. Bring a list of drops and sprays used and any hearing test results.

Frequently asked questions

My child has ear pain — a pediatrician or a pediatric ENT doctor?

You can start with either: a pediatrician will look at the ear and decide whether an ENT consultation is needed, or you can book a pediatric ENT doctor directly, especially if ear infections keep coming back. Pus from the ear, swelling behind the ear with a high temperature or a sudden drop in a child’s hearing need urgent care rather than a routine booking.

Should adenoids be seen by a pediatric ENT doctor?

Yes, adenoids — the tonsil at the back of the nose — are examined by an ENT doctor, who will assess how much they block the airway and explain whether anything needs to be done. Tell the doctor if your child always breathes through the mouth, snores, has pauses in breathing during sleep or often has ear pain; you can note how your child sleeps or film it.

Which Yerevan clinics have pediatric ENT doctors?

Pediatric ENT doctors on this list see patients at 10 Yerevan clinics, most often at these: "Arabkir" Joint Medical Center — Institute of Child and Adolescent Health (4), Kean Medical Center (4), and "Muratsan" University Hospital Complex (2). Ask when booking from what age children are seen and whether you can come with a baby.

Which pediatric ENT doctors see patients in Russian or English?

5 pediatric ENT doctors on this list have their consultation language listed: 5 in Russian, 5 in English. A young patient copes better when they understand what will happen during the ear and nose examination: choose a language in the “Consultation language” filter, and check with the clinic for the other doctors.

About this list

This list covers doctors whom Yerevan clinics name on their own websites: currently 12 doctors from 10 clinics. The list is incomplete and keeps growing; each card leads to a page with the practice location and the clinic’s phone number. There are no such doctors from other Armenian cities in the directory yet.

The districts with the most doctors on this list are Arabkir (8), Erebuni (3), and Ajapnyak (2). The list includes 10 women and 2 men — you can choose with the “Gender” filter.

Cards where the clinic lists experience, education or a consultation price come first, then the rest. Within each group, cards with a photo come first. This is not a ranking: places in the list are not for sale. How we collect and check information

Doctors of related specialties are in the list above. Ask the clinic about the cost of a consultation: some clinics have their price list on their Medaro page.

Medaro is a directory: we do not make diagnoses or recommend a particular doctor. Information about doctors comes from clinic websites; before your visit, check the appointment and the cost with the clinic.
