About Medaro

We want healthcare in Armenia to be transparent: anyone should be able to find out in advance where the right doctor sees patients and what a consultation, a test or a medicine costs — and choose knowing what they are choosing.

Above all, we want medicine to stay medicine, not a business. That is why nobody can buy a place in Medaro’s listings, and why we take our information from public sources and show it to everyone in the same way.

We are not a clinic or a pharmacy: we do not diagnose, prescribe treatment, sell medicines or book appointments. You call the clinic directly, on the phone number shown on its page.

Positions in listings and ratings are not for sale, reviews are not deleted for money, and we take no commission from doctors for the tests and examinations they order.

We collect almost all of our information ourselves from public sources: first of all the organization’s own website, then its official social media page, state registers and public directories. For every value we record where and when it was taken. A doctor who has confirmed their profile fills in the rest of it themselves.

Price lists, state programme services and doctor profiles show the source and the date right on the page. If the source does not say it, neither do we: what we cannot confirm, we do not guess.

How we check our information

Press “Spotted an error? Let us know” on the organization’s or doctor’s page, or write to info@medaro.am. A moderator reviews every message, and we correct things only against a confirmed source.
