In 2004-2006 served in the Defense Army: first as the head of the medical point of N military unit (2004-2005), then as the head of the medical service of N military unit (2005-2006). In 2007-2019 worked in the Oncourological Department of the V.A. Fanarjyan National Center of Oncology of the RA MH as an oncologist. In 2019-2025 headed the Oncourological Department of the V.A. Fanarjyan National Center of Oncology of the RA MH. From April 7, 2025, appointed as the temporary acting director of the V.A. Fanarjyan National Center of Oncology of the RA MH. On September 9, 2025, by the order of the RA MH Minister Anahit Avanesyan, appointed as the director of the V.A. Fanarjyan National Center of Oncology. In 1996-2002 studied at the Faculty of General Medicine of the Yerevan Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University. In 2002-2004 underwent postgraduate education at the Academician S. Avdalbekyan National Institute of Health of the RA MH, receiving the qualification of an oncologist. In 2014, Karen Tsaruqyan was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. In 2015, the qualification of a doctor-specialist in the specialty of "urology" was awarded by the Yerevan Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University.Show in fullShow less
